    Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy

After missing the two opening group matches, the Chelsea custodian has been impressive for the Lions of Teranga, keeping two clean sheets and conceding only two goals.

The 29-year-old has been handed another chance to help Senegal win the trophy and also boost his chances of being crowned the best goalkeeper for the 33rd edition in Cameroon.

    Centre-back – Kalidou Koulibaly

Just like Mendy, the 30-year-old Napoli defender missed the opening two matches owing to Covid-19 but he has been the rock in the defence since returning in the game against Malawi.

Koulibaly will continue with his role as Senegal seek to stop the Pharaohs.
