WHAT HAPPENED?
Liverpool boss Klopp watched his side win 5-1 on Thursday to make the second leg something of a moot point. He was asked after the game if any Sparta players had caught his eye, and could potentially move to Anfield in the summer.
The interviewer, it seems, had forgotten that Klopp has announced that he will leave the club after the current campaign.

Liverpool will have to find a new manager this summer but, first, they will hope to give him the send-off he deserves. The Reds have already won the Carabao Cup but will aim to follow up with the Europa League, the FA Cup, and the Premier League. A quadruple wouldn't be a bad way to say goodbye.
